Hi all

I am a fan of the italian team, and during the last worldcup ( Mondiali FIFA 2006), and till now, I usually write some sentences in italian that indicates my love to the team.
Some of my friends used to say that I am insulting them in Italian.

Today, I will tell you these sentences.

I will start by the translation of some words

Azzurri Blue
Squadra Team
la squadra azzurra -> the blue team - italy, of course

Forza indicates strength and it's cry to infuse courage like saying Go
So, "Forza Azzurri" means Go Blue team - italy
Forza Milan means Go Milan
Or Forza Maldini

Now we should get to the last part which is the world cup
World Cup Champions means I Campioni Del Mondo
I'm not sure..probably without the first "i"

Anyway, let's continue
Siamo noi means It's us
So,
Siamo noi I campioni del mondo
means
It's us, the World Cup winners

And before moving to other subject, translate this

Forza Squadra Azzurra, Siamo noi, siamo noi i campioni del mondo.

you remind me of some kind of phase i've been through
i'd call it (ITALY MANIA).. i used to spend all my pocket mony on anything that has any italian touch..whatever..but especially football and italian players
i even tried to learn some words and could at some level compose some scentences..which i've forgotten totally by now

but in order not to make my contribution a total loss
i can recall some colors i've learned

red=rosso
black=nero
white=bianca
yellow=giallo
blue=blu
and i think they mean navy blue
